Abstract

Optimization and simulation of systems especially in science and engineering can help to reduce risk and cost of design and testing processes.
A huge number of simulation software has been developed to support modeling and simulation efforts. All of these software tools support the use of one or more mathematical model classes. Despite all of these efforts, it is hard to find simulation software, which is capable of combining several model classes in a real industry standard environment. The paper presents a simulation software product for controlling and data acquisition system of cryogenic installation process from tritium removal pilot plant, using an industry standard programming environment widely applied to data acquisition, process control and data visualization: Lab View.
One of the problems in a tritium separation installation is controlling the temperature. For this problem is necessary to develop an simulation system which includes the mathematical model for cryogenic distillatian. Also with this simulation system we make the safety system which monitoring the radiations and toxical gases from installation. The system is new because of all elements used in controlling, modeling and simulation of the process, with datalogging and supervisory control module from tritium removal installation.
