In the actual technological development, plastic deformation by hidro-pneumatical impulsive loads is a new method deformation process with high velocity which comes to complete the diversity of the actual unconventional plastic deformation methods (explosive substances, exploding wires in gases, electro-hydraulic and magneto-hydraulic impulses etc.).
The paper presents the analytical method in order to find out the maximum stresses in thin plates plastic deformated by hidro-pneumatical impulsive loads. There are given comparative rezults obtained using FEM.
