All research articles published in Smart Energy and Sustainable Environment are fully open access: they are immediately and freely available to read, download and share.

All research articles must promote acceptance of diversity of opinion, respect for people, and equality of opportunity. Articles that promote discriminatory considerations of other authors' research based on the assumption of inferiority due to age, gender, race, ethnicity, culture, sexual orientation, disability, or health status will not be accepted.

Articles published in Smart Energy and Sustainable Environment are open access, and distributed under the terms and conditions of the Creative Commons Attribution (CC-BY-NC-ND) license (https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc-nd/4.0/).

Copyright

The corresponding author(s) will receive an acknowledgment of acceptance of the manuscript together with the publication statement requesting the author(s) to grant Smart Energy and Sustainable Environment permission to edit, publish (digital or print) and distribute the article while allowing the author(s) to retain copyright in the article.
