Determinarea activitatii tritiului in probe de apa grea din Instalatia Pilot Experimental pentru Separarea Tritiului si Deuteriului

Water provided from an Experimental Pilot Plant for Tritium and Deuterium Separation has specific characteristic from depleted water to heavy water. Next measure methods of quenching and efficiency determination by liquid scintillation for batch water samples from this Experimental Pilot Plant had been study: Internal Standard Method, Channels-Ratio Method, External Standard Method. It used a low-background QuantulusTM liquid scintillation spectrometer.
For every methods, except Internal Standard Method, standard curve calibration for each heavy water concentration used it is necessary and inaccuracy for low-level counting (depleted water) wasn't satisfactory.
It chose Internal Standard Method and it applied to heavy water samples with different concentration from 99.66 D/H+D % to 1.65 D/H+D % The dilution factors calculated for D/H+D % concentration were near to dilution factors calculated for tritium activity measured.
