Abstract

Aquatic works are very difficult because of the humidity, low temperatures, low visibility, strength air flow on the surface witch presume practical and remarkable divers abilities.                                 Getting simple, stabile and safe systems witch permit to produce and maintain an stabile electric are welding in an wet environment is the major impediment in welder process.                                       This work presents an underwater welding device with local drying in protective gas medium using a triple protective head weld (water-air-argon) and an analyze of steel requirements in welding procedures.
The experiments was conducted with an experimental stand through head welding immersion in a bulb at 250 mm depth.
The aim of this procedure is to detect the effects of the welding values parameters on weld appearance and microscopic structure of weldjoining.
Metallically examination was accomplished with transversal samples over head welding direction.
The optimal values parameters of underwater welding regime was, determinate to provide the best structures.
