Abstract

In the last decade, the numerical simulation has known fast progress. Therefore the numerical simulation of industrial processes using CFD analysis (Computational Fluid Dynamics) is a new approach to modeling and visualization fluid flow.

In the present study, we proposed flow the analysis of cases of a fluid-solid mixture in a hydrocyclone plant using CFD technique with ANSYS - Fluent software.

One such installation, known as hydrocyclone is used for separating solid particles out of a liquid. The models developed in this paper aims of these applications installations in the treatment and wastewater.
